An easy to use system – Control + Monitoring + Connectivity for cranes
Corebox from GH Cranes is a device that provides control, monitoring, and connectivity for cranes. It controls the motor to prevent overheating and monitors parameters such as operating time, lifted load, and malfunctions. This system can be connected to an online platform to allow crane owners to monitor the crane remotely. An important advantage is that it can be mounted on cranes of any brand to enable performance monitoring and safe calculation of the working period. Connectivity is optional and requires a separate subscription.
Control:
An electronic load limiter connected to a load cell.
It controls the hoist motor in case of overheating.
Monitoring:
Operational data: Times, Displacements, Cycles, Lifted Loads.
Incident log: Overloads, Overheating, VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) faults.
DWP (Remaining Working Period, calculated according to ISO 12482). It is reported as SWP (Safe Working Period).
Connectivity:*
Communicates monitored parameters via a cellular network to GH CRANES’ proprietary data platform. GH CRANES uses this information to provide its customers with GH Realtime, a set of advanced usage and maintenance services.
Using the GH CRANES CUSTOMER PORTAL (portal.ghcranes.com), the crane owner can access complete and real-time information about its operation.

Corebox: HOW IT WORKS
COREBOX receives data from the load cell, VFD converters, and motor thermal sensors.
COREBOX processes and records crane operating parameters and detected errors.
COREBOX sends lifted load and SWP data to the display or radio control.
COREBOX communicates via the cellular network to GH CRANES’ proprietary platform*
